2. Overview

You can use The Breed Match without creating an account or entering personal data. We do not use analytics or tracking tools at this time. The breed quizzes and fit checks run entirely in your browser: your answers are not sent to us or stored on our servers. When you share a quiz result, your answers are only part of the link itself.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When you visit the site, Netlify automatically processes technical data that your browser sends: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, browser type and operating system. This data is needed to deliver the website securely and reliably and is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not combined with other data. Because Netlify is based in the United States, data may be transferred to the US. Such transfers are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified, or on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. Fonts and images

All fonts and images are hosted on our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or other font services is made when you load our pages.

5. Cookies and advertising

This website currently does not set cookies. We plan to finance the site with advertising through Google AdSense, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Once advertising is active, Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, measure their performance and, if you agree, personalize them. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked for consent through a consent management platform certified by Google before any non-essential cookies are set (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time through the privacy settings link on the page. We will update this policy when advertising goes live.

6. Contacting us

If you email us, we process your email address and the content of your message to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We delete the data when it is no longer needed, unless legal retention periods apply.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR), and to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. 8. Notice for US residents

We do not sell your personal information for money and we do not collect sensitive personal information. Once advertising is active, our advertising partner may collect information such as device identifiers and browsing activity on this site to show and measure ads, which some US state laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), may treat as "sharing" or "targeted advertising". You can opt out of personalized advertising through your Google ad settings and by using a browser signal such as Global Privacy Control where supported. You may also contact us to request access to or deletion of personal information.

9. Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes

We may update this privacy policy when our website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page.
